The roleplaying elements of the game will have role-playing gamers feeling right at home. When you ransack an old settlement, you may come across artifacts that will allow you to do certain things with your settlement or any other aspect of the game. An artifact that I obtained during the capture of an ancient city, infected with flying beasts none the less, allowed me to awaken another hero. These hero's can command a whole other platoon of troops, meaning the more hero's that you have awakened, the more troops you can have under your control. Each hero will have their own abilities and weaknesses, as well as strengths.
