The most anticipated feature the Diablo II Expansion will bring players is of course the two new character classes. The original five offered up in Diablo II covered the typical range of fantasy classes that most are familiar with fairly well, but a few selections resembling a Cleric or Thief could have definitely rounded out the selection a bit more. Well it didn’t take too long for word to leak out that the expansion will bring us the character classes of the Druid and Assassin. My dreams of playing a Battle Cleric were crushed when the two new classes were announced, but the Druid class can essentially be thought of as the Cleric’s cousin. For those who wanted to play a Thief, you should be more than satisfied with the Assassin.
