Bethesda's multiplayer survival RPG Fallout 76 will be getting its next major content update on March 1, 2022. Entitled Invaders from Beyond, this update will task you with defending the post-apocalyptic Appalachia from an extraterrestrial onslaught. The skies above Appalachia are about to get a little more crowded with the arrival of the Invaders from Beyond Update on March 1. Make sure you’re ready to fight back against the alien interlopers by watching our newest Dev Dive video. We’re also sharing reminders about this week’s bonus Challenges, the end of Season 7, and the ongoing Fasnacht Day Seasonal Event. Read on to catch the details.
TUNE INTO THE INVADERS FROM BEYOND DEV DIVE VIDEO
Aliens are heading toward Appalachia on a mission to extract our brainwaves! As the region’s first—and last—line of defense, we encourage all Dwellers to prepare for the extraterrestrial incursion by tuning into our Invaders from Beyond Dev Dive video. Senior Quest Designer Ellys Tan will brief you on everything we know about our otherworldly foes so far, including an overview of the hourly Seasonal Event, details on some of the rewards that will be up for grabs, and a few fun moments from Invaders development. You’ll also hear from Fallout Worlds Lead Bo Buchanan about the upcoming ability to earn S.C.O.R.E. from Challenges in Public and Custom Worlds, as well as details on new Custom World settings we’re implementing with the Invaders from Beyond Update. Catch the Dev Dive video below, and then lock and load to show the aliens we won’t go down without a fight.
BONUS CHALLENGES AND SEASON REWARDS
We kicked off a new round of bonus Challenges earlier this week, but had to remove one of our Weeklies due to an issue that prevented it from progressing. To help make up for this, we’re going to add two more bonus Weekly Challenges to next week’s lineup. This way, you won’t miss out on any S.C.O.R.E., and can even earn a bit extra as our way of saying thank you for your patience. The bonus Weekly Challenges will be available from February 22, until the start of maintenance on March 1.
REMEMBER TO CLAIM YOUR SEASON 7 REWARDS!
Fallout 76 Season 7 is coming to a close with the start of Invaders from Beyond Update maintenance on March 1. As you achieve those last few lingering rank-ups in the coming days, make sure to visit the Scoreboard to claim all of the rewards you’ve earned so far. Any rewards left unclaimed when the Season ends will be jettisoned from Dr. Zorbo’s ship and lost to the cold darkness of outer space.

Have you had your fill of Fasnacht yet? Neither have we! Whether you haven’t had the chance to join a parade, or its your thousandth jaunt around Helvetia, the Fastnacht Day festivities continue until 12:00 p.m. ET on February 22. At that time, the Mega Sloth will finally catch a breather, and the Protectrons will go back to business-as-usual. Join us in Helvetia at the top of every hour this weekend to add more wood to the bonfire, fill up your pack beeswax, and collect as many Fasnacht Masks as you can.
