Way back in 2008, we published a review of Precision Games' Birth of Shadows, an indie RPG that had some impressive strategic elements but ultimately left us feeling that there were a number of areas that needed improvement. Checking in seven years later, many such improvements have been realized - with the most recent being a significant update to the game's terrain and scenery artwork. That's led to a Steam Greenlight entry (which you should vote for) and a new teaser trailer:
