Sword Coast Legends Gameplay Video #2: Dungeon Crawl and Dungeon Master Modes

The folks at N-Space have published a new gameplay look at Sword Coast Legends. This time they focus on the DM mode, which is something of a selling point for the title, and a potentially very interesting way to distinguish itself in a year that is surprisingly crowded with titles that occupy similar spaces:

While the developers haven't obviously shown the full scope of this mode yet, I get the impression that they have decided to go for something very intuitive, even if it meant sacrificing a little depth and breadth, so that a DM can potentially set up and adjust things on the fly. That said, I should note that n-Space has yet to shown campaign creation, which will no doubt synergize nicely with DM mode.

The video was first shown during a Twitch livestream today that you might want to watch in its entirety if you are interested in the game. During the livestream the developers talked at length about the game's state, the DM mode, and their plans for the near future. A note: in case you were worrying about the VO that was included in the latest gameplay videos, they do confirm that it's temporary and actually done entirely by a single person at the studio. Full VO will be done by a European studio, and the developers are currently considering different options.
