Kingdom Come: Deliverance Video Update #7: Tech Alpha, Composer, Map Finished

The latest Kickstarter update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance is notable for including a video update on Warhorse Studios' ambitious open-world medieval action-RPG. Before moving on to a small summary, it's worth relaying the most important piece of news contained inside it first: the developers have a release window for the game's "tech alpha". If all goes well, the alpha should be released by the end of September, otherwise it might slip as late as early October (software development being what it is, though, don't be surprised if it is delayed further).

The Warhorse Studios devs have also found a composer for the title, made progress on the alchemy minigame, which should offer a full visual representation of an alchemist's job, and have finished the game world map. That doesn't mean that the actual work on the game world is completely done, but now the Warhorse team has a good idea of the world's size, its boundaries, and where every important location will end up, and can use that information to work on the encounter and location density, and design quests that properly take all of that into account.

There are more small details on the game development I'm not going to go over here, so I invite you to take a look at the full video if you are interested:
