In addition to his video retrospective on Icewind Dale 2, Obsidian Entertainment's J.E. Sawyer also published two videos concerning design. The first is about attributes and character concepts, while the second is about sympathetic villains and antagonists. They both (especially the first) offer some insight into Pillars of Eternity, and therefore well worth a watch if you're interested in the title.
