To forge an authentic version of the sword and armor that the "enigmatic hero" will be using in Dark Souls II and to get some proper footage for their "Forging a Hero" teaser trailer, Namco Bandai and From Software reached out to France-based Armedia forge and gave them all of the specifications they'd need to craft a real-life version of said items. The end result is a seven-minute behind-the-scenes video that's well worth your viewing time:
