You might remember that patch v1.8 for Skyrim was undergoing beta on Steam, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that now the patch has been released on the digital delivery distribution platform.

The console versions are still to be dated, but for now, here's the short changelog:

General memory and stability improvements

Fixed rare crash when using vampiric grip

Fixed issue where Arnleif and Sons Trading Company could become permanently locked

Fixed issue related to duplicate NPCs

Fixed rare issue where exterior door would not open properly
