The fine folks over at GOG.com have kicked off a new 17-day summer promotion called "Battle of the Games", and while the first couple of days didn't quite make it through our RPG filters, day 3 definitely does with Piranha Bytes' Gothic and Arkane Studios' Arx Fatalis going head-to-head. The idea is simple - vote for the game you'd like to see discounted by 60% the following day, and the runner-up will be sold at a 40% discount during the same time period.

If Arx Fatalis wins, I'll be adding it to my GOG.com library even though I own multiple copies already. Hell, I might even add it at 40%.
