Another role-playing Kickstarter drive has been successfully funded, as the folks at Stoic have received more than 720% of their initial $100,000 requested budget for The Banner Saga, a viking-themed 2D tactical turn-based RPG. With a pool more than seven times bigger what the team had planned their development cycle for, Stoic has already promised several additions for the title, including multiplayer player-controller cities, porting the title to various platforms, help from an animation studio and more.

Congratulations for another successfully funded project then, with the hope that the final game will deliver on the promise in December.
