The Witcher 2 2.0 Now Available Through European Retail

With all of the enhancements and additions made to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings up to and including CD Projekt RED's ambitious v2.0 patch, we're essentially at a point where the game is as "enhanced" as the original game's "Enhanced Edition". As such, it really isn't too surprising to see that European stores are now selling version 2.0 copies at retail, allowing newcomers to jump right into the game without dealing with the earlier patches.

To be honest, I'm a little surprised that they didn't label it as The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition or something similar, as the game has evolved enough that it certainly qualifies for a name change. At the very least, a quick subtitle would make it easier for journalists to point out which copy they're reviewing from now on.
