As a massively multiplayer shooter/RPG, we've covered SOE's original PlanetSide on various occasions throughout its 8+ year existence. And with role-playing shooters becoming all the more prevalent (and popular), I thought I'd point you over to PlanetSide2.com, where a countdown is currently ticking away until what we presume will be the sequel's official revealing on Thursday evening (7:00pm PDT, to be exact).
