Dead Island Trailer Wins Advertising Award at Cannes

It's more than likely that you have seen or at least heard about Dead Island's CGI trailer, which has been noted to strike a very different and more emotional tone compared to the actual game (and if you haven't head on to our Youtube channel to see it right away). That very trailer has been awarded a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity - which bills itself as the "most prestigious international advertising awards" - in the "Internet Film" category.

Congratulations to Axis Animation for producing the trailer then, and let's hope that the game proper can be equally deserving of prestigious awards.
