Essentially, everything has been given an extra hundred layers of detail. The finished product is much more realistic, yet somehow being much more otherworldly than the slightly tepid Oblivion.

Races:

Every race seen so far is subtly altered to be less human, giving more diversity to the world. Combine with the obvious graphical update, and Oblivion looks outdated beyond belief.
