Should you be considering another Oblivion play-through to better prepare yourself for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you may want to install the Nehrim: At Fate's Edge total conversion mod to spice up the experience. If you're not convinced that's a good idea, you could always read through GameHounds' review and see why they gave it a 9/10, first:

I know, I know, not everyone has a PC that can run Oblivion, and I'm sure most of you already own Oblivion on Xbox 360 or PS3. Still, I really think you owe it to yourself to try Nehrim. It's a completely free mod that offers hours of content. You can pick up Oblivion on Amazon for about $15 and any PC built within the last few years is sure to run it on decent settings.

Nehrim is a massive mod. It even received a Mod of the Year award in 2010 on moddb.com. If you currently own Oblivion on disc or Steam, you have no reason not to try this. For the rest of you, go buy Oblivion, and download Nehrim. You won't be disappointed.
