Wizardry Doing Well in Japan, New Title Revealed

Not only is Siliconera reporting that Wizardry: Dungeon of the Imprisoned Souls won an award for being a top-seller on the PlayStation Network in Japan, but they've also revealed a new title, Wizardry: Town of the Imprisoned Spirits, which will be included on a "Wizardry Twin Pack" due out in retail stores early next year. Only in Japan, of course:
Soon, Wizardry fans in Japan will be able to get the game without crawling through a labyrinth of PlayStation Network menus. Wizardry Twin Pack includes Wizardry: Dungeon of the Imprisoned Souls and the upcoming PSN release Wizardry: Town of the Imprisoned Spirits on one Blu-ray disc for 6,090 yen ($73).

The Wizardry Twin Pack ventures to retail on January 27, 2011.
While I'd like to see something like this get localized for North America and Europe, I also find myself turned off by the anime-style graphics that have been injected into the series since Sir-tech sold it. What would be even better is if Acquire licensed the IP out to, oh I don't know, Obsidian Entertainment. Then maybe we'd get a real Wizardry again.
