Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga Reviews

Two more reviews of The Dragon Knight Saga have graced the web since my last newsbit, and they both hand out some much-deserved praise for the Divinity II bundle pack.

IncGamers hands out a 9/10:
For listening to criticism and revisiting an imperfect game, Larian Studios deserves high praise. The team has turned what appears to have been a near-miss into a triumphant re-release. It's so rare to find writing this strong in an RPG, let alone one with a fantasy theme, that it should be cherished. DKS is smart, open and freeform enough to let the player experiment and explore for themselves in a way which many other games fail to deliver. Moreso than any other European-style fantasy RPG released this year, The Dragon Knight Saga deserves your attention.

And The Examiner slaps it with a 4/5:
For a title that - ahem - flew under the radar until its release I found it to be a surprisingly robust and enjoyable experience. The two story campaigns can easily net you 40 hours of gameplay with its fast action, refreshing humor and treasure trove of quests. Despite some presentation and control issues I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for a new action RPG to add to their PC collection. From a ratings scale of worst to best: Ugh, Mediocre/Okay, Good, Great, & Excellent; this game is Great.
