Kobolds, ne? Having just gotten Baldur's Gate yesterday, I had my first encounter with Kobolds today. They turned tail and ran before the might of Elysia Moonstar and her rather chaotic, if not insane, party of adventurers! *loves being the insane leader of an insane party*

Neither do I. I actually like the music of John Tesh, Kenny G, and Michael Bolton. But since popular prejudice makes them out to be substandard, I thought my joke would be more mainstream with them as the instruments of torture.

Proper order? What do you mean?

1 to 2 to 3 etc. I prefer to play games in heir chronological order, but that’s just me.

I like Kenny G. It was a joke. I have never heard of Tesh, and Boltan just sucks.

I like to play games in order also, but I don't always.

I'm guessing you assumed that Aegis and I have played BG2 and are just now getting around to getting the first Baldur's Gate, ne? I don't know about Aegis, but I haven't played BG2. In fact, until I got BG, the only one of these PC RPGs I had played was Icewind Dale, which takes place chronologically before Baldur's Gate when Drizzt was still in the Underdark.

I played them in this oredr:

BG1
ToSC
PS: T
Icewind Dale
BG2
Icewind Dale Heart of Winter
ToB

Though I have played BG1 and 2 a couple of times through each and restarted both scores of times (but left game unfinished) to try different party combinations.

I also replayed IWD in heart of fury mode to up character levels when I got expansion. (Game unfinished as I was sidetracked (Again!) by BG2.)

I love this name sometimes People just can't help but use it in everday sentences... although I can't, for the life of me, remember the last time I heard someone publicly declare they "vehemently" hated something... but you never know, the day is still young

Incidentally, I played them in this order:

Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast
Baldur's Gate II: Shadow's of Amn
Baldur's Gete II: Throne of Bhaal.

Never played IWD or PS:T. Don't plan to either

Hmmmm... anyone else notice the incredible amount of winking going on in that last post of mine???

Heh, I went out and bought BG2 in anticipation a couple of days before I finished BG/ToSC, and installed and started playing it straight after
