depending on if you waited till last to go to nar shaddaa it could vary on who you pick. i normally use kreia, and bao dur, b/c by this point in the game kreia has force storm, or destroy droid powers and since there are PLENTY of droids she will be useful, also taking someone handy with computer skills as well as lock picking abilities is nice b/c part of goto's yacht is dealing with computer sequences. thats who i normally take with me although the choice is really up to you on who you choose.

Welcome to the forums...
I don't IMO believe it really matters which party members to take...
Try searching the forums or this link in the walkthroughs here at GameBanshee

I think like Jekyll-Hyde that computer/security and destroy droid skills/powers are the most usefull. If you want a challenge, try NPC's without these skills/powers.:mischief:

I almost always take Atton for his security skills, then one of the other players that has high computer skills. I also try to select for either Force Lightning or Destroy Droid, as there are a lot of droids and turrets on the ship.

Remember that any XP 'gained' while the PC isn't in the party is purely illusory and won't be credited to you. Bearing this in mind, I take party member who have Stealth and Security so as to stealth past the first few droids without killing them, leaving them alive for my PC to kill.
But then, I'm obsessed with maximising XP
If you just want to progress through the game, simply pick your most powerful 2 characters. Bear in mind the droids on the yacht hiot quite hard, so you might want to pick someone with quite a few hit points, so they don't die in one hit!

Definitely at least one person who can recover/disable mines. There's a lot of XP to be gained here by them.

Alot of good strategy in the last posts. Just remember that one of the best combos for a jedi is (1) melee combatant and (1) Ranged Combatant. I like someone with disabling tactics, sometimes that can win a battle or lose it. Even better, is if you have someone to heal you so you can concentrate on fighting. That's why I liked to have a Healer/disabler.

Do the XPs you get before you get your PC count for the NPCs?

The one i always take with me is T3M4 as he gets a permanent 1+ DEX on this mission.
