I've kicked Garius ass and since I play as an evil character I'd like to side up with King of Shadows. I get Bishop to join up with me and I get everyone else killed expect for Construct
Any advices? I'm playing as a rogue/shadow thief. I never have enough time to finnish construct off. If I try killing him first everyone else will attack me at the same time and I die. If I kill everyone else first Construct does quick work of me after that. I've tried to summon other beings to help me out but they are of no help at all. I've also tried keeping my rogue or Bishop as a ranged fighter but still not helping. That thing is too powerfull and quick!
So now I'm hoping I had never made that stupid machine
Any ideas, help? Or is my best chance to start from a save that I've made before I got Construct.
EDIT: *spoiler, major one*
Spoiler
Just finished the game, killed Shadow King cos got sick of getting beaten up by construct. I think I saw a thread about this before somewhere in here but.. THE ENDING SUCKED!! Had they no more ideas left?! They just thought to kill everyone. Great. That's just what I want to hear after playing hours and hours. Now I'm pissed and I'm so gonna kick some construct ass. (Still need help with that.. ) Read from somewhere the ending for an evil char is better if you choose to side with Shadow King..
There should be some weapons with enchantment specifically against constructs which should be useful to you. You might still need to reload from an earlier save to get it before entering the last area, but probably not as far back as when you completed the golem.
Using ranged, I would read arrows seeing your class and Bishop's, would be rather pointless unless you have alot of elemental damage ones since the golem would have DR to make it practically immune to your pointy flying sticks.
Then, if you've got spells from scrolls due to high UMD... but probably not or you'd have an easier time already.
You could try running around more, by running the golem's target while the other attacks, then quickly switching tasks when it changes target. Putting both of you in puppet mode and liberally using the pause option would be required for this though. It is only one, you are two.
Hmm didnt think about that weapon thing, never really paid too much time chekcing out which weapon works best to what. Guess I should have
My character has good skills at UMD but not great and dont have much scrolls.
Soooo if just cant keep running around enough it would seem I gotta load from an earlier save and buy some more usefull thing..
Anyway thanks to you. At least I have some hope I dont need to start from the middle of the game
I remember sending Kheldgar and Cassavir to deal with it and it ended in a pretty serious fight; especially considering that both of them have little to no problem in all others!
Oh well... best of luck! Check all the stores. I'm sure you'll find something useful.
