A Baldurs Gate style Cleric build?

I've been considering playing through Morrowind as a cleric but if I do this then I want it to be as close to a Forgotton Realms style cleric as I can possibly get. I have a few ideas such as Restoration and Conjuration as major skills, along with Blunt Weapons. I'm struggling to decide which other major skills to use though, as well as which minor skills to take. I've also decided that I will need to buy spells then use them to create spells similar to the ones in the BG series etc. Anyone have any idea the best way to create these spells (I'm looking for the effect, the amount of damage it does and so on, not just the type of spell).
Any advice would be appreciated but I would like people to remember that I'm not looking for the strongest possible build or the strongest possible spells, I'm looking for the build and spells that would most closely resemble that of a cleric in games like BG2 and Icewind Dale, both in their effect and how powerful, or not so powerful, they are. I will be roleplaying this character as a neutral good cleric who will be joining nothing but the Blades and the Imperial Cult and since I have a mod installed that only allows you to access guild services of those guilds you have joined, many of the mage spells etc. will not be available to me. I will only be able to buy the spells from the Blades and the Cult (but once I have the spell effect I can then use it to create the spells that I will use and will only use those spells that I have created - in fact I will delete the bought spells once I have used them to create another spell).
