Some advice. I'm woefully out of touch with what's out on the market today, but are you sure that the rest of your computer is also up to the challenge? It wouldn't hurt to add some specs to your post so the people here can look at them too.

Your processor speed is important, as it will have to take care of Radiant AI and the many other scripts. Your physical memory counts too, as it will need to load all the pretty textures and sounds. I can make Oblivion run fairly well with my mediocre video card simply because all the other pieces fit together really well. Something to look into if you're destined to play this game.

The card will work just perfectly. I use the same type, only mine it is 7300 GS, which is weaker than yours. i play on medium settings without any problems. but, as said above the rest of the computer also counts. i have 1GB of RAM, Athlon64 3200+ and SATA2 HDD.
