Help PLZ
I think I screwed up with my first character but I was wondering if anyone knows of an easy way out of the Vale without the use of a moon bridge. I was wandering around the Forgotten lands and literaly walked to the Vale and I don't have a moon stone to get out. I will try to find a way to climb the mountains but I just can't seem to get anywhere. PLZ help if you can. Thanks
You cannot climb the mountains, and i've never heard about way to vale of ruins via forbidden lands. The one and only way in/off vale of ruins is by moonbridge with using the right combination of runes that mad wizzard gave to you.
So, there isn't the way to help you. Sorry.

What doesn't kill you - makes you stronger !!!
I have climbed the mountains in several places. I have not found any place in the Vale of Ruin, though. I have not looked all that much either. It certainly seems like there would be at least one place for you to get out.
I am playing through my second game and I have been looking for spots to mountain climb. I just got to the VoR, so if I do find a place I will let you know.

Ok, paranoidn, I did find a place that you can climb out of the Vale of Ruin. The problem is that it is going to be difficult to describe. I do not know how to get a small enough attachment uploaded. Maybe I can get someone at work to make it smaller for me. It was not that difficult of a climb (some I have found give me trouble).
OK, on the east and west of the Vale of Ruin you have these cul-de-sacs. On the East side there are six of them. The bottom one has a camp fire, the second one from the bottom as the moongate. The place I found to mountain climb was in the fourth from the bottom (or third from the top) cul-de-sac on the east of the Vale of Ruin. Hopefully, this gets you to the right cul-de-sac. Now, it is about the eastern most part of that cul-de-sac. That is where I was able to climb out of the Vale of Ruin.
If you still cannot find that spot and climb out, then post another message and I will try to mark it on the map.
