Pls HELP! Can't get Crom Faeyr scroll

Post by Fred Flintstone »

I just killed the Shadow Dragon (Thxyllinilla or whatever), and HE HAS NO LOOT WHATSOEVER! I badly want the Crom Faeyr scroll, but there wasn't any other loot (such as dragon scale) either.

I used the wardstone to get past him at first, then I went all the way through the Underdark before coming back and killing him. PLEASE, PLEASE, help me find the scroll. You know how good the Crom Faeyr is, so you know how badly I need it.

Thanks.

Yeah I have no idea....
All I know is that its tricky getting loot from dragons cuz its like hidden underneath them, and plus theyre so damn big the loot can be anywhere on their body... But thats probably not the problem, Im just an idiot.

I tried that. First, I made sure I explored every inch of the reeking dead beast. Then, I went outside and rested and came back in. His body was of course decomposed, and there was NO LOOT lying on the ground. ANY HELP you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you perhaps killed him with disintegrate or similar magic ?
If you disintegrate someone, items can also be destroyed, could be a reason for that.

Good point, but no, I did not disintegrate him. His dead body was lying there with no loot.

Has anyone else had this happen? Do I need to take some additional step before killing the dragon?

Never heard that something like that had happened. I played this several times, but no special preparation needed ( except some small spells to survive the battle Image )

Thanks, everyone, for your help. I reloaded and killed the dragon again, and just as he died the loot magically appeared on right near his dead Dragon butt. So I'm a happy man now.
