I've lived near hellish neighbors, but never like that. Kind of makes you wish for a twenty ton weight to suddenly appear above the house, and flatten it with owners within.

Hey!! At least I did build the mailbox! The pond was my wife's idea!

ROFL
This website is the best argument for owning a very large acreage (with your house directly in the middle of it) that I have ever seen.

That reminds me
I was out once with a good friend of mine when we were kids, when we had an encounter with a mailbox (go ahead, I dare you). I was staying with my parents, and we went out to a strip club to play pool and drink too much. We drove home and as my friend dropped me off, he ran over their mailbox with his pick-up. This was about 3am. The mailbox was a nice one with wood and brick and flowers sticking out of it. I was worried, but my friend said he'd take care of it. Before 9am the same day, he had bought lumber, built a nex mailbox, set it in cement and put the flowers back on, all before my parents woke up. Not a funny story, but interesting to me because it shows a trait very rare in people, and one which I respect tremendously. He was one of my very few true friends in life.

I love what you've done with the spice garden.

Was it as good for you as it was for the aluminum container?
And did you use protection? I've been given to understand that it's very difficult and potentially embarassing during an intimate moment to explain to a partner the anatomical presence of rust.

I had a bet going with myself about who would take that bait, and I must admit, I'm startled to find that it was YOU, you canny & Circean miscreant.
We did not actually have intercourse with the mailbox, however, we noticed that its flag was pointed straight up after our initial contact with it, and so we massaged its post until it spewed forth a torrent of white letters, all over our hands.

I live to serve.
I have expunged the rest of your post from my memory. There are certain things that humankind was not meant to know. I have a strong suspicion that the incident involving you and the mailbox was one of them.

Well, I wouldn't want anything unpleasant to get stuck in your mind. I'll be more heedful in the future, my apologies.

I'm always on the look out to spice it up.
And yes it
was going to be a two story chicken coop.

No, don't worry about it. I wouldn't expect you be post without being unpleasant. It's part of your persona, like the sharpened fingernails and Hello, Kitty bowtie.

Oh, that's right. He ate the Hello, Kitty one. But I think the Little Pony bowtie doesn't go as well with his checkered tutu.
