I'm starting up a new game - a post-apocalyptic 3.5 game - and was wondering about maybe using my big-screen TV somehow. I was wondering if there was any software out there that I could put on my laptop and then HDMI to the TV to use as a "map" during games. You know, something that has a grid and allows you to build maps on it, then during games you can move characters around as per 3.5 rules.
Does that make sense? I don't have any miniatures and thought something like this might be cool.
