Broken Bow at Rivet City (spoilers)

Post by UncleScratchy »

I'm at a loss of how to get into the bow to find Pinkerton or his notes. I suspect that Hargrave or the mayor may have funded an expedition to go in there and wipe out mirelurks but I can't get anyone to offer me the job. Only entrance I know of is the one with the locked (key needed) door. Tried jumping from the good side of the carrier but can't reach the bow. A small hint or nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

You have to be working with Moira on the Book and to the point of getting the history of Rivet city(or have a 100 lockpick). You have to speek to a few people, Getting history on Rivet City which will technically complete the quest. There's an optional bit that the door on the broken bow open up after getting the other information. At which point you can head to the Bow and find Pinkerton.

There are two entrances: the locked door at the end of the bridge, and also a door underwater. I never figured out how to open the locked door, so I used the underwater door. It faces the rest of the ship.
