@Armadin: I still don't get what you are trying to say. I must be thick or something. Sorry.

Take a look at the date. :D :D

Still an innocent poster he were, back then. Who would've suspected that the person askin' for advice on AERIE (!) would be turnin' out to be the number one spammer on the board? :D :D :D

I'm startin' to sound like a tv-host, methinks. ;)

Armadin: Seeing as how this forum was only a couple of months old at the time you reference (oddly, my birthday), I would guess everyone was an inexperienced spammer. Though you bring up an interesting bit of history. This forum brought together, and continues to bring together, many people of diverse backgrounds with at least one common interest: Fantasy Role Playing Games (mainly BG2). It is amazing that it has now grown to become a casual discussion group concerning almost any subject! But, the role-playing undercurrent remains throughout. The ties that bind as it were. Incredible.

@Gwalchmai: Reminds me o' good ol' BGDungeon, prolly one o' the most crowded boards in the history o' BG forums.

It started out innocently as a BG board, an' later growed to 15000+ members, 'twas amazin' - ye could ask a question an' 'ave it answered within the minute - an' also the reason the place was shut down.... :(

That be 3 months ago now, an' most o' the regulars there 'ave found a new home, includin' GameBanshee, such as me an' Fable.

Me point: I sure be hopin' this ne'er happens 'ere. I didn't knowed how much I were missin' this place until I returned. :)

An ale to GameBanshee! :D
Cheers!
