Ooh, hill is correcting for me.

Sorry for the lack of a new riddle and me saying as usual 'Correct'. :p

New riddle:
A man was shot to death while in his car. There were no powder marks on his clothing, which indicated that the gunman was outside the car. However, all the windows were up and the doors locked. After a close inspection was made, the only bullet-holes discovered were on the man's body.
How was he murdered?

You mentioned nothing of a gun. Does that mean its missing or that the police have just arrived at the scene and havent looked for it yet?

No mention of the gun in the riddle I was given. The current location of the gun is unimportant.

I'll take a stab at this one... wait, no I won't. My answer would yield powder marks. Okay, here I go anyway: He was shot by a passenger. His shirt was probably open (it says no powder marks on his clothing; it says nothing about on his body). Maybe he tried to rape someone, his shirt was open, and the rapee shot him in self-defense. After he died, the passenger got out of the car, locked the door, and closed it.

The gun could have gone off when he stepped into the car and closed the door. As he was falling he happened to push down on the lock switch. This would satisfy the fact that the only bullet wounds were on his body and then the shooter would have been out of the car. Does a silenced pistol leave a residue powder or not?

What happens if the driver was knocked unconscious outside the car, dragged and put inside, then shot inside the car, his keys stolen, the car locked and no bullet marks on his clothes.

This riddle has many, many variables.

Not a bad riddle, just way too many variables for us to think about especially when you are bored and two in the morning.

Well it seems every man and his dog is having a go, so one more suggestion couldn't hurt :D (well except for the gun shot, that would hurt)...

The car is a convertible, so the gunman simply fired in through the gap where the roof is normally but wasn't for this car.

*Grins and looks back at hill*

What can I say? :D

Many of these answers solve the riddle, however they are not the answer Ravager wants. As such, you are right, but you aren't 'right'. That's why my trick is to say as many answers as possible...but you guys have used up all the other choices :p .

DJ's right. Shock, horror :p ;)
P.S. It was a travesty that we lost the Ashes, one massive travesty .

You had it for what? 16 years? HA HA! :D ;)
And I don't even like Cricket... :p
Sorry- had to get that out of the way...

A sharpshooter hung up his hat and put on a blindfold. He then walked 100 yards, turned around, and shot a bullet through his hat. The blindfold was a perfectly good one, completely blocking the man's vision.
How did me manage this feat?

Yeah...but I wanted to reach 20 years :D .

A number of possible answers:
1) He walked 50 yards, and then walked 50 yards back again
2) He's a really great shooter
3) He hung the hat on something that went with him
4) Someone told him where to aim
5) He has a HUGE hat that's impossible to miss

Tsk. Australians and cricket... :p

Only 5 possibles? :p

Uh...I need a better answer than that. Something more specific, none of those completely cover the answer I'm looking for.

Oh, there are plenty of cricket fans in the UK, especially now. :p

Correct answer.

Harry Jones was driving home in his car, with his son Robert in the passenger seat. The car was involved in a head-on collision with the truck, killing Harry outright. Robert was seriously injured and taken to hospital by ambulance. In the hospital operating room, his would be surgeon took one look at Robert and said, "I'm sorry, but I can't operate on this patient- he's my son."
What is the explanation?

Ten pears hanging high,
Ten men come passing by,
Each took a pear and left nine hanging there.
How could that be?
