@Nippy- I would not mind being on the Council, though I'd probably be better as a Holy Warrior. I just don't think my character is the "Council" type! :D As a player, though, I'd like to continue being involved.

I am leary of having too many paladins dominating the wing. While I do realize my character IS larger than life ( ;) ), I do think maybe the three Council members should be a paladin, a cleric and a monk. Maintain balance, you know. (geesh! now I'm soundin' like a freakin' druid)

@Fas- welcome! Now there are two of us paladins in the wing with lineage from Calimport. Well, at least before I modified my bio to fit into Argyle.

@ Word, I'm 16 too, no probs there!

I actually agree with Rail (for once :D :D :p ). I would like a Paladin, a Cleric and a Monk if possible to fill the council. Please nominate your choices. :)

BTW I know there are no Monks. :)

To be honest I would prefer that other people nominate each other, I would prefer a democratic system. Remember, one Cleric, one Paladin and one Monk (eventually) in the Council if possible.

Alright I understand and I think its better to be more Democratic. I feel it would be better for the whole guild overall if we try to mix up the alingments like a neutral cleric or something. Also i am notifying everyone in our wing that i am "running " for the Paladin position so feel free to nominate me! :D ;)

So how's stuff here? Is it just goody-goody Paladins, or are there some laid-back Clerics here as well?

I'm thinking I might go for Cleric instead of Sorcerer, but no goody-goody! :D More like a variant on True Neutral, actually (nasty to enemies, nice to friends, children and animals ;) ).

Are there godless Clerics in Argyle? That's one of the niceties of D&D Clerics; they don't have to worship any god in particular. :)

Well I'd suspect it, but I can't tell you for sure - there you'll properly have to go right to the source and ask DM's overthere :)

how does that work? Clerics not having to worship a God...seems silly to me. By the way, i've pretty much decided i'm goin to play as a true cleric. The rogue just wasn't workin for my ruse.

I believe it has something similar to Monks reliance on Ki. They (Clerics) believe in themselves or something like an all enveloping spirit.

Does that help or are we going to argue about Monk's/Cleric's source of power?
