Dragon Wench, turned to jennabard. "It's okay, it's just that the ruins did something to me, I think that they did something to all of us." "But yes, we need to find the Gilded Rose, the past must wait."

"But first", she said, we should make sure that everyone is well enough to travel and that Vivien is cured of her possession. In the meanwhile, the rest of us need to rest."

"I'll go first," Loner said, and began to relate her planar adventure. She did not speak about her developing relaitonship with Kramo -- she thought it not the right time. She told them of the wizard who had assisted them, and had offered his help in the future. "It seemed to me," she said, "that he was the good half of a battle constantly raging between good and evil forces in this plane. We experienced the evil only briefly, but strongly enough...Whether this has any bearing on our cause, I don't know."

Then, hesitatingly, she told them of Anomen -- everything Kramo had found out from him, his gambling debts, and how he had been in on the act of breaking up the Harem.

"He is at the High Hall of the Radiant Heart," Loner concluded. "What will become of him, Ryan Trawl and Keldorn will decide there. I know nothing more of it."

"THAT B@ST@RD! i'll kill him!" growled jenna, her eyes seeing only red at the moment. dragon pat her on the back trying to calm her down. dragon wench went and explained what happened at the ruins the binding spell, the amulet, the dark force they've encountered.
"somehow it's tied with the amulet."

OOC- got split for a few hours, feel free to use me. i'll try to be back for the show down.

Loner took hold of Jennabard by both arms. "Believe me, I know how you feel," she said. "But let the ORH deal with him right now. We have other, and larger, things to attend to."

When Dragon Wench had finished relating all that had gone on at the ruins, Loner said, "I wonder if that dark force in the plane has anything to do with this? Could that be what they were trying to bind? It has interfered in our issues, after all...And the Gilded Rose, I was under the impression that they were a force for goodness, like the ORH. Unless one of two things is happening: One, the Gilded Rose seems to be one thing while it is really another; or two, someone is impersonating them, to discredit them, or to further exacerbate the tensions. *sigh* I wish I knew what we were dealing with here..."

Dragon Wench looked thoughtful. "I keep wondering about their name," she said. Roses symbolize, among other things, knowledge. Yet the knowledge is overlaid by wealth."
Then she stopped, "sorry," she said, "it's just that the name has been been bothering me for some reason, it's probably not important though."

Loner, brow furrowed, nodded. After a moment she looked at Dragon Wench and said, "Has um...anything else happened? Anything really...strange? Like...mental things?...I'm just curious, because that entire ordeal in the plane was mental; it played on my anger...I've also been overcome by thoughts of my past. Has anything like that happened to any of you?..."

Dragon Wench nodded at Loner.
"Some years ago I.....lost somebody close to me, there are things I need to reconcile and I haven't, I've been trying to bury them.
When I was in the ruins, everything that happened, came flooding back, almost on it's own, and all the pain I felt came back too. It was...... weird."

As she watched Gwalchmai sleep, Georgi remembered the amulet she had taken from the mage at Ogre Falls. She took it out of her pack and examined it, twisting the chain absentmindedly in her fingers...

She looked about the room, and saw a ghostly figure. "Hide, child! Quickly!" She obeyed, concealing herself in the wardrobe... The distant sounds of battle drew closer. She realised that the wardrobe door had swung ajar, but it was too late. An armoured figure strode into the room. She wanted to turn away, but could do nothing but sit paralysed. Blood soaked into the carpet, creeping towards her hiding place. An armoured leg stepped closer. She shrunk back as far as she could, quaking with terror. A voice came from the doorway, and the figure retreated.
The child she had been climbed out of the wardrobe, and rushed to her father's body. His eyes gave a faint sign of recognition, even as the last of his life force drained from his body. She threw her arms around him, trembling, not knowing what else to do...
The bearded figure sat up. She jumped back in shock. "Why did you let it happen, child?" A tear rolled down Georgi's cheek. "You didn't save me, and you won't save your friends..." Sobbing, she buried her head in her arms.

Gwalchmai gently shook his mistress. "My lady... Georgi..." he said quietly, forgetting his status. Seeing the amulet wound through her fingers, he carefully removed it.

She blinked her red eyes open, but the bearded face... no, it was not her long-dead father, but a far friendlier face. He wiped the tears from her cheeks, and she smiled. "You're alive."

"Thanks to my kind mistresses," he replied, remembering his place.

Georgi reached out a hand and touched the scar on his face. "You have suffered as much as any of us, Gwalchmai... I can hear no more of this 'mistress' rubbish. Please, call me by my name." She hugged him.

"This amulet must be destroyed," Gwalchmai said to the priest. He assented, and took it. "I think we had better join the others in the Copper Coronet... They're probably worried..."

Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

Ooc, ok just wanted to doublecheck before I went ahead and did something

Dragon Wench, feeling a desire for fresh air, realised that Vivien still needed care.
She left to find her old friend.
As Dragon Wench entered the temple, the old man turned, "Dragon Wench!" he exclaimed. She looked at him, "Hello Horatio.....it has been a while......."
He eyed her, "Yes indeed, how have you been?"
"I'm okay, but perhaps we should discuss the past some other time. I have a friend that needs help, she has been possessed by a dryad."
The old man gazed steadily at her, Dragon Wench could sense the questions forming in his mind. Instead of asking them, he said "I have some experience in this area, I will come."
Dragon Wench and Horatio headed to the Copper Coronet, and to the bed where poor Vivien still lay.
The priest laid his hands upon her and began to mutter unfamiliar incantations......

(OOC bye loner :) )

Georgi and Gwalchmai made their way down the steps and into the Copper Coronet. Georgi nodded at Bernard.
"Your friends are upstairs... Can I get you anything?" Glancing at Gwalchmai, Georgi ordered two Tia Marias, and each of them gulped one before heading up to find the others.
