Ummm...are you sure you're not talking about some other song? The main lyric in "Bishop's Robes" is 'bastard headmaster' repeated over and over again, which is rather apt as he was, and he had no time at all for music or drama. He's just left at the end of last year though, I never thought I'd be happy to see him go but his replacement...

As for the Latin teacher, whatever song refers to him(/her?), and I can't think of one off the top of my head so it must be a b-side, after careful reference to my intimate knowledge of the Classics department

none of the Latin teachers who were there three years ago were around when Thom left, except for maybe one. I'm not about to broadcast all their names here, but if you have an idea say it and I'll tell you if anyone of that name has taught at Abingdon.

What even Pablo Honey? With the worst song Radiohead have ever done (ergo track 3 from Pablo Honey) on it. Okay maybe not as bad as pop is dead

Theres a british band from the 91 called Senser, fairly small time but you should be able to get songs of any decent file server (audioGnome is my choice) they only ever did one album, called stacked up.. And it abolutly killed everything ive ever heard,

Very heavy, with decks and some of the best rifs youl ever here, ++ good lyircs, vere political (Much like System or Ratm)

Anyways.. There back together now *YAY*

Well, guess my thread got bumped. I recently started to the Vines, and I think they are pretty good. Anyone else has any opinions about the Vines?

The Vines are great although I fear the lads have been given way too much exposure from the British press. They will suffer from having too much high expectations placed on them when they start working on their second album. Seeing them in two weeks, but I have heard from Georgi that they do a decent live show.

These days everyone gets overhyped by the British music press.

They do indeed rock though.

My Vines tip would be see them while you can, because the main guy (Craig Nicholls) seems like the type to burn out pretty fast... I'm not sure they'll last too long.

At the moment, Foo Fighters, they always seem to be evolving their sound, just heard their new single it does sound very good indeed. They have a new album coming out soon and definately worth keeping an eye out for.

IMO - Vadim's new one is where your money ought to be.

Get The Art Of Listening (IIRC). I am very confident that it will be good
