Seriously I'm not sure, but I know deleting posts or threads reduces the post count so I would hazard a guess that yes that happens

I think Darkpoet mentioned that he would have reached 10,000 posts if you combine the number he had under is previous name (began with V i believe) and then later DP.

if Buck's going to purge the old threads better warn me so i can bump up all of mine for the sake of saving them for no reason at all.

Suggestion: Maybe we could make an archive where all the old topics go. You can't post in them anymore but you can still read and reference them.

@ Thorin, as far as I know, Buck doesn't have plans to purge the archives again, but we didn't get any warning last time

Well, keep in mind the plan was to speed the server up, and by removing Goody, and since switching hosts, the forums have been fast.

Well, he could always purge some of the BG2 forum threads, as many of them have been repeated, ad nauseum...

Perhaps i would be allowed to ego's, Legal Sleep (for moderating) and Mr Sleep (for flaming trolling etc) I could try to ban myself

Yes but then i would have to kerb my destructive streak!

Actually i did go back and delete some of the threads asking who member no.1 is since that has been discussed at least 16 times
