Yes, although i have learned now that pulling them apart doesn't actually tell you how they work. It does however explain very quickly how and why it doesn't work

3 Final Fantasy series, though I prefer the older style games.
Wow.. Someone else who agrees with me! I personally think that once the series got to PSX, the series was killed, with the exception of FFT. They seemed to focus too much on graphics then anything else.

What gets really annoying to me is the need the makers of the new FF games seem to feel to put in 10-20 minutes cutscenes. Ok, so maybe it moves the story, but it gets really annoying as all get out.
maybe I was exagerating a little on the time of the cutscenes, but not by much.

As much as I enjoy the cutscenes, I agree that they seem to pop up too often, and last too long. It takes away from playing the game, and really affect you if you really got into a "gaming mode"

1)the Baldur's Gate series
2)Freespace 1 and 2
3)Homeworld 1and 2
4)Resident evil 1 and 2, 2 is the scariest game I have ever played
5)Alpha Centauri 1 and 2, liked the original game
6)any Civilization derivative, I really liked Call to power
7)The Mechwarrior games
8)Tachyon the Fringe
As to time well spent, it was not I suppose

time wasting when I should be having a life, oh well it was fun to waste so much time, and the games were fun.

I never could get into this game. found it rather slow, and extremly cliche to the old zombie flicks.

Have to agree with Sleep and Moleman on this one. Garrett is very cool. Thief 2 is one of my all-time favourite games.
1: Secret of Mana. An RPG on the old Super Nintendo. This is my all-time favourite game.
2: BG2/ToB. What can I say that hasn't already been said?
3: Thief 2. I only ever play it the way Sleep mentioned, though.
4: The Zelda series on the N64. I poured so many of the days of my life into these games, the only game(s) I've spent more time on is BG2/ToB.
A mixture of time wasted and well spent.

Mana was good, but that cracked up sequel they released, evermore, wasn't very entertaining.

I thought Resident Evil one was not as scary as Resident Evil II anyway I rather liked those old zombie flicks as well.

Evermore wasn't the sequel to Mana. They (Squaresoft) made Mana 2, but it was only ever released in Japan.
Evermore wasn't so much to my liking, either.

It was the North American and European sequel to Secret of Mana. The Japenese one was labeled Seiken Denesutu, but only hit our shores in the form of a ROM.
