Touche, Veh ;)

You're an Aussie, huh? I was born there but don't remember it at all; we moved when I was just a baby.

Yep, True Aussie Blue :) It is my opinion that Australia is one of the greatest countries on this earth... but I could be just a tad biased ;) :D

So where do you live now Loner?

Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

I live in the US, in New England.

Hmmm, Robert Herrick. Maybe I should invite him over for dinner instead of Churchill ;) Have to pick up a book of his poetry, for sure...

There's a great site where I get a lot of inspiration from:

Just an Unsolicited Theory:

If Loner ever finds a boyfriend (or vice-a-versa), she's going to drop SYM so fast, our heads will be spinning for weeks (I wouldn't blame her). Personally, I'm hoping she takes her time on the love thing... :D :D ;)
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

Well Gwally, I have no aversion to being single. I think it's been too long though, I'm 29 and still no meaningful relationship, just one big joke after another. (Like I said to Veh, the ideal is marvelous to behold in the mind. The reality is not so grand, in my experience :( )

And ah...should hell ever freeze over ;) I'll be sure to pop in from time to time, just to let y'all know how things are ;)

Now...what can I get everyone? :D

@Gwalchmai, now what was that about not checking in much today? Signs of serious addiction....... :D
@Loner, since it's still relatively early for me, how about a cappuccino?

@Loner: Feel free to take your time. My wife and I didn't marry until I turned 35 (we actually held the wedding on my birthday!) We have a lot of friends who were on their second or third marriages, so we always figured we had skipped our first 'failed' marriage, and went straight to the 'successful' second. :D

This would be my advice to all hormone-poisoned young people out there who fret about not having a bf/gf. Take your time. Learn to be alone. Strength of character is the best thing you can bring to a relationship, if and when one happens. You are doing fine, Loner. :)

@Dragon Wench: I’ll be in and out today. I don’t know if I’ll be able to contribute to the Flames, though. Maybe during nap time....
