Roleplaying In Atkathla
@Aegis- Ah, ignore 'em. People will post anything on the internet. I think it's sad. We're all losing touch with reality. People start acting like there isn't someone on the other side of these posts with feelings. They forget to be human beings when they realize nobody can see them. Sad, really.

Take it easy you guys! And I was just joking with you Aegis! If you think that I seriously hurt you then I am sorry because that was not my intention. And regarding the so-called XXX-scenes: there weren't any as I planned these posts beforehand. I make these kind of posts up whenever the going gets XXX except for that Canadian squad thing; that one I incorporated after Aegis remarks!

@Rail: Glad to have you back. I'll e-mail you the "master plan," though it doesn't seem to be working...
@Aegis: I posted in your goodbye thread, but I'll post again here. I don't want to see you go. I count you as a friend. Try apologizing unreservedly, without any negative remarks. As far as I can tell, no one here is out to hurt others' feelings. They're probably just as offended as you are. It's just a misunderstanding that everybody has to work through.
@Melosh-tar: Things getting a little hot, eh?
I'm sure everything will settle down soon. No need to do anything hasty. I haven't seen any baddies in a while... You might be the only one left...

Lost Souls: A bereft lover. A masterless familiar. Friends gone their separate ways. Time marches on, and destiny heralds the meeting of comrades old and new. Can they find what they're seeking? Or will the search bring them only more pain?
Moving on with the story....
Aegis entered the ante-chamber. The rest of the team was there already (I'm speeding this up purposly, we need to make some moves fast) As soon as he entered, the rest of them instanly saw a change in Aegis. They hadn't seen, or heard from him in days. They knew, though, he had spent many hours with Void. As he entered the room, the party felt a strange chill of difference crawl down their spine. They were already nervous about the battle they soon, no doubt, fight.
Aegis had removed his armour for good now, and had replaced with a light weight robe from Magus's older supply. At his side remained Titan Slayer though, and Tag of course. His eyes had become a pale, chilled blue that showed odd hints of change. He stepped before a small table in the centre of the room, and sat down with the rest of the party.
He felt the eyes of his colleagues on him, most likly wondering what sort of change had happened to him over the past few days. Aegis just gave a small smirk in response. The feature looked strangely familar to all of them, but not from Aegis. The smile was from someone else. Aegis was different. He discovered the true power of his past, and learned to manipulate most of it, even a few secrets of his own. What had he done? What sort of deal did he make with the devil for this. What was his secret....
The plot thickens. Magus, I think it's time to reveal the master plan to the good party now. Evil party! Let's get moving, it's starting to get interesting!

Melosh-tar: We'll say this is after Irenicus's defeat and death, so Bodhi is dead as well. But there could still be a significant number of vampires left from back when she led the guild. Who knows, maybe another leader arose...
Aegis: You sent me another e-mail, correct? I'll check it as soon as it starts working again. It tells me that I have mail, but won't let me in my account. Also, Rail, Fallout, and Trip-Wire already know of the plan, so we're just waiting on the evil party.

@Evil Party: Someone needs to take command of the evil party now. Whether it be Ubik, Waverly, Gruntboy, Seabass, or even Melosh-tar, we need to get things rolling again.

@Magus- just go back to the time when Waverly returned. I had plenty of time to scout around undetected, and I'd even accurately report it all to you, so that would have been the perfect time to advance the story further. Take control of the story from that point, since the evil side seems to be missing at the moment.

I think I'll take Rail's advice. I'll also take the liberty of running into KidD01, and getting him in the group. I've got to go now, but I'll do all of this in a few hours after I get back. Hopefully this will get the story going again.

You know what, I totally missed the "@Weasel" in that message. I thought he was addressing me the whole time. In that case, I won't arrange for KidD01 to meet up with us. I'll leave that to you if you so desire, Weasel.
This is before Waverly reached the Planar Sphere. Here we go...
Rail and Void are sent to the sewers to intercept any persons heading towards the Planar Sphere, while the rest of the party watches the front steps. After a while, Waverly comes hurrying down the tunnel. Seeing that he is definitely a powerful magic user, and having heard of such a person connected with recent disturbances from the Shadow Thieves, Rail telepathically signals Void to ambush him. As Waverly is striding through the tunnel, he suddenly feels a mental intrusion. Inexperienced in mental combat, and lacking the will necessary to block it, Waverly finds himself spiraling to another place...
He finds himself standing on a nondescript plane. As he is trying to figure out where he is, he suddenly senses a hostile entity. He doesn't know how he senses it, but he does. Before he can think more than that, the ground rises around him and engulfs him. Waverly finds himself suffocating, and struggles to free himself. Frantically, he casts a haste spell, and manages to free himself. He surfaces only to find a great stone hand reaching toward him. He casts a fireball spell, but the hand is unaffected. It grabs him with a crushing grip, and then all turns black...
When Waverly regains consciousness, he finds himself magically-bound to the wall in a deserted-looking building. Upon his awakening, Magus walks over. Waverly also sees several other figures, including a large barbarian, a colorful-looking bard, a beautiful elf maiden, and a strange man in mage robes that carries a sword at his waist. But his eye focuses on the mist-like being before him. Somehow, Waverly knows this creature was the one that intruded into his mind. Fear and hate simultaneously swell in him until he feels like he'll burst.
Magus stands before Waverly. "Speak, and tell us of your contact in the Planar Sphere. I'm sure you do not want to have your mind entered once again."
The mist-like creature's eyes flare ruby red, and Waverly knows Magus's words to be no idle threat. Waverly's mind races, and he wonders what to do...
Sidenote @Waverly: Sorry I forced you into such a situation, and even changed circumstances to do it, but something had to be done to advance the story. Here's what happened. Void engaged you in psionic combat. Void is experienced in psionics and is very strong-willed. You are totally inexperienced in psionics I am assuming, and your will (wisdom) is severely lacking besides. Thus you had no chance in the subsequent battle. You were possessed, but your memories were not invaded, and you were taken to the place where you now reside. I singled you out because you were the one to enter the Planar Sphere most recently, and your low wisdom justified an inevitable defeat in psionic combat. Your turn now...
