Focus, folks. We must spread the word--within reason. Let's acquaint more people with DCI, and tell 'em to vote for the comic. It deserves the support!

Been voting daily since the start of this thread. I will try to get some of my friends to read the comic and vote.

I vote for DCI (almost) everyday since i know the comic, sometimes more when i need a PC at college, cause then i can vote again.

I dont know if this thread caused it, but DCI is finally of the 16th place at TWC.
I never check the place at BuzzComix, but i do vote there.
Maybe I should put a link in my signature again.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

It was 13 last I checked. Hurray! :D
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

About DCI avatars... (Since it's more spam-like IMO, it had to go here.)

I was wondering about using a pic of Durnkrag as my avatar, Kayless.

I was looking for a pic of 'krag somewhat like the Arudin avatar that Aegis had for (what seemed like) the longest time. I'd be looking for one like that, although with hair detail of today's issues. I actually PMed Aegis himself about that. He read it, but hasn't responded yet, so I'd thought I'd save him the need by talking to the one who knows DCI the best. :)

How much is there to it?

Heh. I'd ask about Arudin, if I wasn't so attached (superglue, you know) to my unicorn chess piece. :)

Still on our thread theme, I'm amazed at the stuff that regularly gets the top few slots on both polls. They remind me of an old US comic called Nancy. I had a friend back in college who used to read that comic religiously, every day, because he found it remarkable that anything intended to be humorous could be so remarkably unfunny without let-up. Yet of course, the comic was extremely popular. I suppose that explains the most popular Web comics, in a strange sorta way. Translation: class alone doesn't cut it.

Reminds me of the comic Cathy. I could never understand how that got into papers in the first place. But I guess somebody must like it...

Er... Oh yeah... Sorry about that. Funny thing is, I started responded when my browser reset. At that point, I got frustrated, turned away from the computer, and accidently forgot :o If It's any consolation, you've done what my advice would have been... :o

The rule seems to be that the most bland and innocuous stuff gets reprinted the most, since it gets the least complaints: democracy as the lowest common denominatior. (Reminds me of Paddy Chayefsky's famous line, that "Television is democracy at its ugliest.") Cathy was a more modern Nancy, in many respects. And each has its parallels on the Web. Horrifying, isn't it?

Absolutely!

So, do right click on it, get the URL, then load it up into the avatar section on my User CP? (Anyone can answer this).

Edit: Never mind. Easier than pie!

Like fable, I have to admit I like Arudin as well.

Aegis was the one who had him as his avatar a while ago, though. Right??

Now this is said we are discussing the sexual nature of two comic characters. Someone end my misery now please!

CM, it could be worst. We could be... uh... nevermind.

BTW, what matters is that I like these comics because of the thief and the gals.

I like the dwarf finally a dwarven character that is not the butt of all jokes. Plus why do i think Kayless thinks of himself when he draws the rogue? :p

I dunno, but the rogue rules. BTW, why is always the rogue who has only 3 inteligence?

And other: Is it my impression or in char creation they've given him 25 char and 7 dex? (he is damn clumsy, thanks Kayless)

I admit there's a little bit of me in Castor, but then that's true with all the characters.

I like to think of Castor as having a decent intelligence but low wisdom. ;) I don't think his ineptitude is due to low dexterity, but rather having totally misallocated his skill points (he put them all into sexual prowess). :D
