It may take years of counselling to get rid of that mental picture. **shudders**

In Sleepy's link:

PIPEX

Complaint - Engage Tones / Very Poor Support / Slow Speeds / E-Mail Problems / Billing Issues
No. Complaints - HIGH (20)
Status - Semi-Resolved (Broadband service improved, unmetered dialup still problematic).
Details - Customers of the unmetered dialup service have seen numerous connectivity issues and everybody complains of having problems contacting support.
UPDATE - 13/09/2002: 2 new complaints, poor support and ADSL cut-offs.

Good stuff Mr S (on ISP's generally) but that appears to be mostly as an ISP, with lesser problems for ADSL.

I'm happy and its cheap!

Good luck Gruntboy :)

Though the majority of the complaints posted refer to Xtreme (Pipex' dial up) I was one of those with ADSL problems :( I have had another weekend of failed ADSL connection, which mysteriously was up and running again today (I hate error 650!!!). Fingers crossed it improves as the link suggests it might be. Getting through to support is terrible, apparently they are trying to improve this by installing more telephone lines but this is work in progress.

I'm quite sure there's something in the Geneva Convention regarding that. Something about war crimes and inhumane treatment maybe?
