Bent never really did it for me, but Royksopp are quite nice to relax to, not really inspiring i thought, but... nice :)

Bent share a lot in common with Avalanches in their musical style but they seem to diverge into a slightly more chilled out vibe. I just love the track "Swollen", it is beautiful......oh look i am gushing again :D Why didn't it do anything for you? :)

We haven't mentioned the king of the turntables Dj Krush, the man who over the course of 8+ albums has still managed to keep his air of cool  Zen is magnificent, it is also charming to see N'Dea Davenport formerly of The Brand New Heavies doing a track :)

Now now, no need for language like that :p I'd have thought you would like B&S, they're the same kinda vibe as Gorky's IMO... And don't you bloody dare diss Embrace you accursed guttersnipe!!
Well actually I have come to accept that most people just don't see the gloriousness of Embrace, and I suppose that's their prerogative, but still... you're all fools!
anyway you might be interested in the packet from some bangers in France about a year ago
Why the theiving little...! :D
Yaaaayyyaaaaayyy!!! Supergrass rock my socks! OXFORD! OXFORD!
Supergrass rule :D Really must get round to buying more of their stuff... but their damn albums are always like, £16 or something ridiculous :( My cousin's mates with Danny Supergrass y'know
Elbow and The Hives are bollocks. Appaling wankers, dreadful men. They ought to get real jobs, the swines.
Elbow are fab :p Did I actually say the Hives were good? I think I just mentioned them in the context of Swedish bands... I did find them amusing for about five minutes (and they were quite entertaining when they played on Jools Holland a while back), but the novelty has worn off ;)

Yeah, everyone in Oxford knows Supergrass somehow or other...Though as a matter of fact their drummer used to live next door to my best friend of many years, so they were always around smoking funny smelling cigarettes when I was little... :)
Did I actually say the Hives were good?
No, and I therefore feel the need to say quickly and with authority that they are not. They are bad bad bad.
check out Handsome Boys Modelling School
One step ahead of you, sleep :) . I've even got Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By...recomend it to Rob though, he likes avalanches :)
Bent
never heard of em. ?.

D...J...Kr-u-u-uush...! You liked Zen? I thought it was bollocks...I liked that purely tribal drum track (sonic traveler? or something? can't remember the title), but the rest was boring, and the samples were boring too, IMHO  :o .Have you heard his cold cuts series? it's the best stuff he's done, apart from that This Is Acid Jazz mularky...but I've only got that on MP3, never seen any records of it...CODE 4109 is his best solo album IMO...

I heard he did a live set wher he was actually pressing records on stage, and mixing with his own mixes of mixes of his own mixes... :D :(

It's the best hiphop album ever ever ever...*
Will buy as much of Del Tha Funky Homosapiens stuff as possible on monday...am hooked. Have listened to that record about 100 hours straight now... :)
You should get The Gorillaz Albums, I'd use to play them while SPAMming or at work ;) my coleagues are now as hooked as I do - We used to play it loud in my room nowadays :D :D :D

BTW I also love their Video Clip :)

I did the best of both, you have a referrer for any SYM members, and those that don't browse SYM will pass by it in the P:T forum :)

Better in what way? Better beats, better raps, better vocals? They have a world event where everyone displays their ICE and the one with the best wins a prize of more ICE. The winner a few years back had so much sound that sitting in the car would have boiled his blood, so he had to use a remote to turn the stereo on from outside the car :D

Code 4109's got much better samples and melodies than Zen and Meiso, but it's not really that which makes it cool (well I guess it kind of is actually)..anyway, it's the vibe of the thing, man...[ ]. It's got a really smokey jazz kind of a style, bit with really old-skool rap sampling and loads of crazy saxes, pipes and blues-ish piano...the beats aren't as complicated as his other stuff, but that's not really what we're here for is it?

ps, and if I am still failing to convince you, just think of this: It's got Japanese rapping on it...
