I hated poison for the longest time.....that first album cover....you KNOW you all thoought they were really girls.
@T, Britny Fox didn't make more than about 2 albums before they changed lead vocalists, then one more after that. I checked, and all there stuff is currently discontinued, so evidently, you weren't the only one they didn't make an impression on.
But I did kinda like the Boys in Heat CD they had out.

it was always quite disturbing to me when some guy would be bragging about how hot these girls were in this new band only to have the cover tho Poison's album be produced as proof....evidentl, Rikki Rocket had a lot of male admirers.

Well he was very pretty

And so good with the makeup
Am trying to think of lineup changes in bands that somebody besides me has heard of

While we consider AC/DC's lineup (another great Australian band

). Who prefered the Evans:
Dave Evans on vocals, and Mark Evans instead of Cliff Williams?
Seriously Bon Scott is definitely what made AC/DC great. He may have been dead and gone for ages and AC/DC still rock well and hard but nobody would miss 'whatshisname' if Bon rose from the dead.
Roger Walter's is a similar thing with Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd would NOT have been Pink Floyd without his involvement. That they can continue without him is not that surprising but he moulded the overall style and direction in a way that the other contributors couldn't have. An aside to this, I saw him interviewed resonably recently and was surprised how sane and together he is. I would never have guessed from his artistic expression. -
Curdis !

Very interesting stuff about Waters Curdis. He was/is a truly disturbed man and a fantastic musician.

Well, when those albums came out in the mid seventies I was only four five six years old. My parents were in there mid twenties (yes, another product of young parents) and they liked the Floyd and bought their albums. I took them off their hands years ago, they didn't care and were flattered and frightenend I was so into their music. I grew up listening to the beatles, simon and garfunkel, floyd, neil diamond, zep, doors, hendrix.
So, if you have originals of the albums, perhaps you just have a few years on me as far as age goes. Had I been ten, eleven, twelve at the time, I probably would have bought them.
I would hazard we were the same ageish

I went out and bought them all in my late teens....

Good music is something that doesn't appeal to the 10 and younger age group. In other words music that doesn't involve boy bands.

"Boy Bands" ?
And what about those annoying girlie groups and / singers (even if they CAN'T really sing - like Titney Bears or the Vise Girls

But honestly - it's no wonder that the young people get all funny when talking about their beloved "Stars"....Synthetic products have that effect on the human mind.

So could Britney be called some kind of modern LSD with inflatable ****... ??
