I know somebody thats just bought an extremely expensive Mercedes luxury car. You should see the added extras and features. Its the smartest car I've seen! I can only dream of owning one.

Well i have seen quite a few, not quite the same thing is it.

I've got my learner license. All I need now is time on the road and some cash for some driving courses.

:cool: How old do you need to be to drive in Australia? I've been driving (as in qualified) for just over 3 years now... ;) And when I turn 21, I'll be able to drive my dad's company car :D

Thats something that worries me about getting on the road.

I've never crashed into a car... or anything else :p :D ;)

I just didn't pass for ages cos I got nervous taking the test :p Plus it took soooo long, I mean when you failed it was impossible to get a test for another couple of months :rolleyes:

That is a major proble, it is one of the most ridiculous things about learning to drive.

You have to be 15 years and 9 months to get a learners license. With this you can start learning and drive on the road with supervision. I think that you have to be at least 17 to get a provisional license. Thats when you need to pass a test, or pass a series of checkpoints to show you can work a car competently. After that you can drive without any supervision but with some limitations and you need to wait another 3 years before you can get a full license. Hope that answers your question. :D
