Is this helping? No, I'm not talking about the punishment above this post.
We're all fighting with each other, rather than banding together to help out SYM. DW, don't give up, as one of the most experienced members here, we need your input. You're giving your ideas, others are saying they might not work. They're giving ideas, more people are saying they might not work.
We all come from diverse cultures. If penguins had electricity, then we'd have people from every Continent visiting SYM. Being from different cultures, we have different backgrounds, and have different ways at solving problems. That does not mean one person is right, one person is wrong. It means, one person has an idea that would work for them, one person has an idea that would work for someone different.
Rather than the whole SYM doing one idea, how about each individual does what they think will help. Rav has talked about how people choose to post what they want, they should not feel obliged. If they only want to post in threads of their choosing, and don't like starting them, that's fine by them.
Then we have people like DW, putting a lot of effort in, and genuinely trying to help out SYM. If you feel your idea will work, then just give it a shot.
I say stop this fighting, as has been said, we're just repeating the same things until we're blue in the face. Instead, just do what you want, to help SYM.
Afterall, SYM has been good for us. Now it's time for us to be good for it.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.
It would be slightly amusing if Rav came into this thread and told us how new members were posting too much in the Stronghold...

I know, it scares me that the fate of the entire argument rests on his shoulders.
But, I just don't think I care anymore. At one time, I valued SYM, that is no longer the case.
I'm really sorry you feel that way and for whatever contribution I may have made to you feeling that way.

@Tony,
as somebody pointed out earlier in this thread, I think it was DJV, that comment was born out of a feeling of frustration.. so take it as a grain of sand...

Well look guys we've all said a lot of harsh things to one another...
It did bring some stuff out, so it wasn't all bad... but hey.. maybe some virtual partying would be more productive....
There was no need to apologise, but accepted. And likewise, I'm sorry for being as harsh as I was.

Oh well, I guess nothing that bad was told. We needed to have a clash here so that things would solve (or crumble into the lack of decency of a wet women fighting ring).
Dontcha think?

Yup, though I don't know if anything was actually resolved
that doesn't mean we shouldn't try
. The flames were kept to a minimum too, which is always good.
Wet women fighting? Where? All I see is Bloodstalker.

Where's bloodstalker? He should have entered this discussion.
Btw, I guess this thread has served us a great purpose. Everyone important vocalized something. We should be proud, that's a hard thing to do.
