Cursing, Dragon Wench distractedly tried to summon a few wyverns to assist Dark Poet. Maybe it was due to her state of distraction, or maybe it was the lateness of the hour, but instead of wyverns appearing to aid Dark Poet in his hour of need, five pristinely white sheep suddenly materialized in front of the beleagered paladin. One particularly friendly animal, nuzzled his hand hopefully, perhaps desiring a small treat of sorts.
Vivien, nearly in tears with laughter, cast chaos upon the ogres and they immediately began to attack one another with great vigour.

Darkpoet gave the sheep scooby snacks and whispered to the sheep. Four of the sheep attacked and killed all the orcs and the Drow. Then they stood guard at the door opening. The one that was friendly to Darkpoet had DW, cornered against a tree.

T’lainya watched the proceedings in stunned disbelief. Trying not to giggle at the absurdity of the whole thing, she walked to where a somewhat agitated Dp was standing. She spoke the words of a simple spell and concentrated for a moment.
Satisfied with the result she spoke. “Darkpoet, where did you get that belt you’re wearing? It’s an ancient gnomish artifact. It was made by Gelvan Glimmersting a renowned practical joker. It’s the belt of Ovinian attraction. Any who wear it find themselves…ummm…irresistible to sheep. Any sheep in the vicinity will follow the owner. Maybe you should err…remove the belt.” That’s probably why the spell miscast the way it did.”

Darkpoet thought for a moment, then spoke.
"So, this belt was a gift, for my servitude, eh DW? Or was I always a joke to you ladies? You know, with the demon in me, I might have not been the most polite person. But, at least you could of told me about the belt, Since now I'm better, but hey, lets keep the jokes going. Dp won't mind, oh no, Dp won't mind. Even if he's looking at ORCS AND DROW COMING AT HIM. WHILE YOU ALL ARE LAUGHING AT THE DAMN SHEEP."
Darkpoet bows to Dw. "Thank you for the gift my lady. Now, it will take a long time, to trust any of you. When you give me something, on second thought, don't give me anything."
Darkpoet snaps his fingers, to the sheep. The follow him as he walks away. Knowing he has more Scooby snacks for them.

Georgi blinked incredulously. Had those... sheep really killed those ogres? She supposed they had, although the drow mage that had accompanied them through the now closed portals seemed to still have some semblance of consciousness, Thantor had seen to that... Thantor!! she realised, smiling. It faded to a frown... someone had called her name, but it wasn't Thantor... Hearing the voice again, she slowly turned. Anomen hurried over and bent down on one knee before her. He looked up into her eyes, all his suffering momentarily forgotten. "My lady... my love... will you hear the plea of a poor knight?"

The bickering around the clearing had ceased. All eyes were on the two of them. Georgi felt her face reddening. "N-not now, Anomen," she managed to stammer. "We should get back to the keep... right, guys?"

Cringing for her friend, Dragonwench stepped in. "Yes, it will be getting dark soon. We should get back. Save the talk for later." Georgi raised her eyes to shoot a thankful glance at Dragonwench, as everyone began to move towards their horses, Gwalchmai carrying Anicka. As Anomen turned away, Georgi looked over at Thantor... but he avoided her gaze. Biting her lip, she mounted her horse and they galloped back towards the keep.

Feeling slightly uneasy at the tension in the air, Dragon Wench grinned at Georgi and smiled a welcome at Thantor.

Then she urged her horse onwards, brushing against Gwalchmai as she passed him. Vivien was nearby, and she winked at her.

When they arrived at the Keep most of the party were yawning. Dark Poet appeared especially exhausted and made a comment about needing to sleep. As he wandered over to the massive door, one of the more attractive sheep bleated happily and endeavoured to follow him through the entrance, all the while gazing hopefully at his box of scooby snacks.

Dragon Wench whispered something to Vivien, and the two women headed upstairs. From a trunk that she kept in her room she pulled out two revealing bikinis designed entirely from feathers. Vivien's face broke out into a delighted smile. Giggling they donned the flimsy garments, and then, in order to maintain a certain modicum of decency, they pulled on their robes. Thus attired they crept down the hallway and quietly slipped into Gwalchmai's room.

OOC: Nippy is still standing ringing the bell :D :D

IC: Nippy hadn't infact been at the keep. A mirror image had gone. Now he realised that the Flames could not come. He needed to get back to the keep. The Tarrasque could wait. Just as the beast broke into the clearing Nippy and Hitomi, with the rest of his gear, left the scene and was in the keep.

As Thantor was in the midst of establishing a mind link with drow mage, he made the unfortunate mistake of getting too close to Darkpoet. A fairly large and jealous sheep had reacted poorly to this, knocking Thantor off-balance. The drow mage was able to collect himself, and through bloodied lips he hissed, "You will know the wrath of Lavidicus." Then he disappeared.

Looking to make a nice mutton stew, Thantor wheeled around, only to see Anomen on his knees before Georgi, who was blushing at Anomen's attentions. Disheartened, Thantor moved slowly away. Not having a horse himself, he was thankful that Gwalchmai was attending to Anicka. He gratefully accepted an offer for a ride from Jennabard, and they headed back to the keep. On the way, they spoke about Jenna's adventures and about Thantor's perspectives on the Shadow Work. Arriving at the keep, Loner lept off her horse and ran up to him, hugging him tightly, tears in her eyes. He smiled in spite of himself, stroking her hair and telling he was much too ornery for anything to happen to him. Released from his embrace with Loner, he grasped the extended hand of Kramor, who also seemed pleased to see him. Even in his distracted state, Thantor noticed a new vibration between them, and arched an inquiring brow at Loner, who smiled and promised to tell him all about it later.

He quickly conferred with Gwalchmai about Anicka as the others stabled their horses, and promised to return after cleaning up a bit. He was pleased to have escaped the Shadow Master, but his return to the keep had a decidedly hollow feeling to it. He entered his room, stripped off his armor and weapons, and began the tedious process of addressing his wounds and hygiene. Feeling refreshed, he returned to Gwalchmai's room, who told him that he had moved Anicka to her own living quarters. Upon leaving Gwalchmai's room, he literally bumped into Dragon Wench and Vivien, inbibed with an air of mischief, both of whom gave him warm, welcoming hugs, then left him, giggling. Someone is going to have a very interesting evening, grinned Thantor, heading off to Anicka's room.

Darkpoet sat on the corral fence, reading a book called, "1001 Ways to serve Sheep.". As he was reading, he looked up at the sheep. Studing to see, what would be the best way to butcher them. Looking at the five sheep, he noticed each one had there own personalities. Darkpoet grinned, with these personalities, he saw five people he knew. He watched the two by themselves, one sat, smelling the flowers and looking at the trees. It had a peaceful look to it, Darkpoet named it Vivien. The other watched over Vivien, keeping a watchful eye over everything. Music came from the direcection of the ruins, he the sheep listed intently, he named it Jennabard. Darkpoet watched the three, one had a calmed look to it. As to be in a deep meditation, he named that one Loner. The real friendly one, Darkpoet could see that it was not afraid of anything. Very self assured, and loved the Scooby snacks. Darkpoet, named that one Georgi. Looking a the last unnamed sheep, this one was strong headed, always rubbing it's back end on the corral post, like it had a continuous itch. It had a permanent satisfied look on it's face. Darkpoet started to laugh, he named that one Dragonwench.
"The Dark Flames in wool." Darkpoet laughed even harder, as he made sure there was enough, hay and straw out for them.

T'lainya walked up looking at Darkpoet, wondering if he had another demon in him. Putting his arm around T'lainya. He told her to watch the five sheep, then explained why he was laughing. As T'lainya, watched the sheep, she could see what he was laughing about. She started to giggle herself.

Back in her room, Georgi changed out of her armour uneasily, thinking about Thantor. He had barely said a word to her, but she was somehow very aware of his presence in the keep. She felt an astonishingly intense sadness, and wanted to go and talk to him... but something held her back. She eyed herself critically in the mirror, fingering the scars on her face.

A knock came on the door. Maybe... Her face fell as she opened it. "I apologise for disturbing you at this late hour, my lady, but I fear I will not be able to rest until I speak with you," Anomen said, with a hopeful look. Georgi stepped back, gesturing him inside and closing the door. She sat down and watched him as he paced the floor nervously, searching for the right words.

"Georgi, I..." he knelt at her feet, taking her hand humbly. "I always was a terrible poet, so I shall just say this straight, and hope that it communicates something of the depth of my feelings for you..." He sighed. "What I'm trying to say, is that I love you. I've done some terrible things, and I'm truly sorry for all the pain I've caused... but I've changed. It was your soul - your sacrifice - that made it possible. To be with you would make me the happiest man alive. I love you."

Georgi saw the sincerity in his eyes, and struggled to keep her composure. She shook her head. "But Anomen, I've changed too. I told you, last time we met, that I didn't remember why I cared for you, and you deserve an explanation... I've lost some of my memories of you, Anomen. Something to do with the qa transfer... Anyway, it's different now..." She couldn't quite bring herself to tell him about Thantor.

"Well then, give me another chance, Georgi! Let me win your heart again, fall in love again, make new memories - good memories... If you still care, as Thantor told me, and as you said yourself, then let me try again!" he pleaded.

Georgi's eyes widened in surprise. "Thantor? He put you up to this?" It was starting to make sense...

"Aye, he has been a good friend to me. He wants both of us to be happy... So please, tell me, can I make you happy? I need to know, Georgi..." he gazed anxiously at her.

She slowly shook her head. "Once, perhaps... I'm sorry, Anomen... but my heart is no longer mine to give..." The look of pain on his face tore her apart, but she was also overwhelmed with relief. She had finally said it.

"I see... In that case, I shall take my leave of you. I hope he makes you happy. You deserve that, my love..." Anomen quickly got up and hurried to the door. Georgi followed, watching him disappear down the corridor. She wanted to call after him, but what could she possibly say? No, there was someone else she needed to talk to. Closing the door behind her, she set off in the opposite direction.

Darkpoet walks into his room, after cleaning up. As he walks into the room, he notices T'lainya sitting on the edge of the bed. She had a funny look on her face, like she wanted to tell him something. Then he saw, some of her stuff in the corner. Darkpoet smiled, he went over and lightly kissed her.
"Is there something you want to tell me, or do you want help moving the rest of your stuff in?"

T’lainya smiled and gave Darkpoet a hug. “Thank you for helping me move.” As she brought in a sturdy oil lamp commonly used to light outdoor areas, she paused. ”I have an idea, let’s put this on the top floor...the outside terrace.”

Dp laughed and said, ”Now I know why you wanted help this is heavy.” He playfully pretended to stagger under the weight.

T’lainya laughed and leaned against the passage wall. “Ouch!” She let out a yelp.

“What’s wrong?” Dp put the lamp down and walked back to her.

“I cut my finger on something.” T’ frowned and looked at her finger.

Dp lightly ran his hand over the wall. He felt a sharp edge and inspected that area of the wall closely. “I think I found something.”

Instead of running his finger down, Darkpoet pushed up along the wall. It quietly swung in, Darkpoet looked in. Instead of a stairwell going up, this one went down. Dust and cobwebs were everywhere, no one had been here in a while, no footprints in the dust. He looked back at T'lainya, smiling, he felt like a kid again.
"Grab the lamp and come on. Let's see where the stairs go."
As T'lainya, grabbed the lamp, she threw Dp's sword to him. "Just in case." She said. Darkpoet lit the lamp and the two headed down the steps.

T’lainya looked over Dps shoulder. “Reminds me of exploring the caves near my cousins home.”
Dp grinned at the memory. “We would always see who could go the farthest in.”
T smiled wryly, ”And then one of you would try to frighten me by hiding around a corner.”
Dp snickered, “I know we made you jump a few times.”
T drew in a startled breath. “Look at that.”
Dp spun around sword at the ready. He stopped as he saw what T was looking at. “I’ve never seen anything like it. Have you?”
“Only in some of the larger cities.”

Darkpoet started to light the lamps and large candle. He stood, looking around in amazment. He looked at T'lainya,
"This better than going though those old caves. Look how clear the water is, this is an underground water system."
Exotic plants and trees, left a mild fragrance in the air. It looked like an underground paradise. Darkpoet wondered, how he couldn't smell the plant life. He walked around, lighting more of the lamps and candles. He watched T'lainya, smelling the flowers and putitng her hand in the waterfall. A mantle behind her caught his attention. The light reflected, off of something, or was it energy? Darkpoet moved over to it, there were a pair of earings. He saw they were of Elvin craftmanship. He called T'lainya over.
