Well, thunderstormy kind of rain is, the constant dreary grey drizzle that we get very often in this country isn't so great

I'm in agreement with Georgi about this. A nice thunderstorm, particularly with a good, strong breeze and only moderate temperatures, is very bracing. But grey, British drizzle is about as dull as life can get.
