I for one would love to hear an acount of Mr. grimwald's game. Start a thread dude!
Why is it that whenever I finally get around to playing a new game for the first time,
I feel like playing Baldur's Gate for the second time...

Soloing the game as a thief is really the easiest way to go, save a fighter/thief. Do some run-quests, get some gold, and since the game won't allow people to follow you through different areas you can easily backstab pretty much everyone in the game to death.

Once you get Boots of Speed and Dagger of Venom, it's just a matter of time. Although Slythe was a real pain since he's as fast as you, and you can't run away from him cause he hits you and wounds you all the time. I had to reload on him a few times, but apart from that it's just to hack 'n slash. :)

How? Charm and make them do it? (that's the only way I can think of)

Answer to Klorox: In case of Mulhaney, you're almost there. I charmed him moved him slightly, and left the rest to the skeletons etc. Didn't have to do anything. Slightly ironic that he got killed by those he sicced on me. Had to use slightly different tactics in different parts of the game, but used charm far more than I would normally. I try and avoid it as it usually makes the game too easy. Not with the restrictions I have placed on myself in this game however. Just have to deal with Savarok himself and then all will be revealed. I think that I may have to kill him myself, but am trying to see if I can get others to do it for me. A bit difficult as I can't see them, can't use dispel invisibility, and can't use wand of summoning monsters to entice them into showing themselves. What's more they are very resistant to charm.
Have just finished off Savarok. It wasn't actually too difficult. Went up from the left. Savarok followed me. I hid and went over to Semaj who I attacked with arrows of dispelling until he was almost dead. He then killed himself with Cloudkill. Went over to Savarok, roughed him up a bit and then got him to follow me over to Angelo who finished him off with arrows of detonation.
So it is possible to finish the game without killing anyone yourself.
