@ Tony, what do you use if you play darkside usually?

I like the force powers and all, but sooner or later you pick up all these powers that stopped being particulaily useful about 1/3 of the way through the game.

Sentinel for me also for the anti poision thing. I dont stop for poision mines, I run through them. That makes it easier...
I don't play the Dark Side... And if I did I guess I'd be a Sith Lord.

Yea i usually stick with the jedi watchman. I like to make things on the work bench and improve my weapons, its rather addictive. :D

Sith Master, i would have chosen Jedi, but puh-leese, JMs have little offensive capabilites compared to the Sith Lords.

Eg: Sith Lord vs 40 weaker enemies, Force storm, force storm, force storm, lvl 2 drain health, force storm, force wave, lvl 2 drain health...

And so on and so forth. ;)

i've never played watchman or assassin - they just don't appeal to me. When Jedi i switch between Weapons Master and Jedi Master. AS Sith, i ALWAYS go Sith Lord - just because it makes you sound bigger lol

Sith Lord all the way, Force storm is what I use mostly since I only use it once or twice and everyone turns crispy. For light side weapons master since I usually like my LS character to be a bad ass fighter. :mischief:

 That's because there are almost no[/i"] good LS powers.

Seriously though, i'd have to agree with you on that, nothing cooler than slashing boring old red-and-black Dark Jedi up with your rainbow of brightly coloured weapons and armour.

Watchman. If you beef up your Intelligence and Wisdom, you can still load up on additional feats and powers and therefore you offset the benefit of going the Consular route. Likewise, beefing up Strength and Constitution will make up for not going the other route.

I play watchman, but feats and powers are set - so a watchman gets the same number of feats and powers.

Intelligence only affects skills. Wisdom makes powers easier to cast/harder to resist.

My prestige class is usually dependant on my original class: I usually pick a different one to get a well balanced character.

Overall I'd say Sith Lord, simply because I love the way he warps everyone else's alignments; I love working out a plan which gets enough INF with a goody goody Party Member like Mical that when I hit Dark Mastery he gets it too :) It makes me feel evil, plus it's an interesting challenge balancing good acts to get INf with evil ones to get DSPs.

Guardian/Weaponmaster.

Unstopable in melee, and even continously casting force storm my force energy rarely runs out. Fills up too quickly. Or is it because the game is set to be too easy the first time you play? anyone notice this?

Personally, I like the Jedi Watchman just for role-playing purposes. To be the first Watchman after a long absence from the galaxy seems cool, I think.

I might have gone Weapon Master if I'd have gotten Force Jump, too. But since I started out a Sentinel, Watchman seemed like a good choice. For the record, though, I don't think the stealth ability is worth anything--I never use it. But I like the idea of the class enough that it doesn't matter. (It also helped me in this decision that I was a single-saber jedi, and weapon masters don't get uber skills in duelling, which I have to say, sucks.)

I think what you have to do is creep up to them stealthed and hit them. Then you get the benefits of Sneak Attack for your first round.

Hmm, never seemed to work for me. And, besides, i preferred the in-through-the-front-door (Metaphorical) guns blazing approach. ;)

Master or Sith Lord, anyday. The Mage type class is always the more powerful at the higher levels.

Not really if you are Jedi, as there aren't any significant offensive Force Powers for Lightsiders. To be honest, I find that at the later levels (say over 20 or so) you have more FPs than you could ever use up, even if, like my current tank of a Sith Marauder, you have a Wisdom of 8!
