Subtle, I know, but another vote for Ysh? Have you got it in for me?? Just kidding, thank you! I am honoured :)

To be honest, personally I don't see a need for another mod *shrugs* but if that is the route SYM is taking, then we would need to determine whether time zones are a factor. If they aren't, then my vote goes to BS or DW.

If time zones are an issue, then I would vote for Xandax :)

@ Gwally I'll no doubt disappoint people by telling them I'm not planning on leaving :D

Mahar's right I live in Arizona so someone nearer to GMT would be a good time zone. Also for the new mod, make sure you have a good antivirus and spam filter program.

@Gwally: Nah. Aint leaving. You guys wont easily get rid of me and my hoopak. :p :D

@Moonbiter: You got a point there regarding "visibility." However, both T' and I are not the type of people who post just for the sake of posting. ;)

Besides, where are those Taverns? :p I used to hangout there not to mention the Rolling Thunder when the SLURRs where mighty active.

Xan, Ysh and Georgi are excellent choices for me. :)

Well, anyone does really accept to be nominated as a mod?

DW, Ysh, BS, and the others mentioned here, will you wield the Mod sword as your future?

I think a poll with theyr names is needed...

LOL! it wasn't always that way, for either of you! :p

Luis, I think that maybe the intention is to find out which of the proposed are willing to do the job before putting it to a formal vote? :)

Though I am appreciative of the nominations, I do not consider myself a suitable candidate. Right now I do not have the time to commit, and my infrequent visits are rarely spent poring over threads that potentially might need "moderating"

This is a place I like to hang out, to drop by on occasion and catch up with people :) I don't often involve myself in lengthy debates, and though I try to keep up with them when I am here, it would not be enough IMHO.

I think there are a few more qualified, and more capable than I, but thank you anyway :)

I say collect the names that are willing, and then put it to the vote.

I'm very glad to hear that neither T' nor Mah are planning to leave! :)

As to time zones: T is in the Western Hemisphere, and isn't Mah in the Eastern? Seems we have the world covered already, and a third mod doesn't necessarily have to come from any particular place.... Or have I missed something....
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

My vote goes to Xandax.

Not only is he level headed, never flames or go to personal issues in any discussion, he is also in the right time zone relative to the other current mods.

@Xan,
at least you are "perceived" to still have your sanity and dignity, I get the sense Aegis is suggesting I've lost both :D
Not that Aegis exactly has much of a pedestal to stand on in this regard! :p

First impressions can be everything, but in this case I also have several years of observation to draw upon :p

LOL! Hey, I'm a COMM not a spammer! :p

@Gwally: Put it this way, when I'm about to hit the sack, T' is probably just about to wake up... so what happens in between? :D

@Ysh: Yeah, things sometimes change when Fas aint around and the RT is parked in the garage. :p
