No other banned classes. Most changes to class in Argyle are to make the experience more like 3rd edition. There are two main exceptions.
The first is the paladin - the developers don't like the class - it does not fit in with the Argyle campaign setting. I also think the detect evil thing is ridiculous - but thats me.
The second is there are no Drow in Argyle - again - the campaign world does not include drow.
There are many modifications to NWN rules for instance:
- familiars are toned down - the panther is a normal cat for instance.
- Druid and ranger companions - when they are killed - cannot be respawned for some time.
- Rest times are much longer - no more popping a squat to replenish your spells in three seconds. Also - you can only rest once every 8 in game hours.
- Traps are not implemented - too powerful in NWN - also the DMG says they take days to set up - hence it would be impossible for a rogue to set a trap in 10 seconds.
The other main thing to get used to is "Mage Hate". Read up on the lore - but basically very few people trust any arcane magic - and most will actually react violently to the use of arcane magic - this makes it tough for socrerers and wizards - but adds great flavor to the roleplaying.
I would add that the hak pak makes hundreds of changes to NWN - especially in the scripting area - monsters are more aware and act more agressive. Loot makes more sense - monsters drop what they carry. There are lots of changes - 99% of them for the better IMHO.
