Weasel-The master spammer(with 10000+ posts (editor's note: the good ol' times when bar threads weren't invented post counts were considerably low and the content per post was consideringly high ) .Famed for messing up the forum some time ago. He's know-it-all alter ego named Slyweasel is now no more(rumoured to be dead ).He has some connections with monkeys from out of this world and has the ability to communicate telepathically. This guide is partially dedicated to him. He was the manager for the popular SYM band, Guns 'n' Cookies, and the founder of COMM. Also known as: Sleasel, Emperor of Spam, Slyweasel

Waverly-The self-appointed doctor of the forum. He specializes in giving painful and destructive advice. Watch out for his purple pills. Famed for flaming others and having 2 personalities. Had his head operated by Minerva quite a while back. Also known to be flirting with every person on this forum that claims to be female.For some reason Waverly is Chrissy's hero.Flamed too many innocents until he was sentenced to a lifetime in his very own Hall of Shame. He is the wielder of the Infamous Sword of Flaming +5, and recently recovered from a shaving incident. Other names: Wankerly, General Flaming Innocent Bystanders, Waverly Gravey

Flagg-MIA, along with Chrissy. Makes an appearance every now and then, but dissappaers just as quickly

Ubik-MIA, and probably for the best. Makes an appearance occasionally, usualy in conjunction with Omar.

Gruntboy-Makes a lot of perverted posts. Has a fascination for marines and anything to do with the military.Celebrated his 2000th post by running around naked at the Picadilly Circus.Has become a Moderator of the IWD forums. Other names:Le Grunt, Rear Admiral of Filth, Mrs. Sleep

Minerva-The wise one. Operated on Waverly and made the discovery of him having 2 personalities. The judge of the court here in the SYM forum. One of the sanest person in here. At times she can be charmed using flowers or Buck Fizzles.The first student of Weasel's Spam Academy

Darkpoet-Sadly, this notable member no longer visits due to powers beyond his control.

Chrissy- A girl suffering from a shock after her ladies room topic (the original one) was utterly destroyed by an unknown event. She is often referred to as Bubbly by Waverly, and there are some rumors that she actually is a 60 year old bald fat guy. This rumor however doesn't prevent most guys of flirting with her.She is rumoured to posess a deadly stare so I suggest that you don't make her mad.She is also a vampire-slayer who doesn't slay vampires but is instead attracted to them. MIA, but still notable. She was the first woman spammer, and the object of many attentions. She is currently involved with Flagg.

T'lainya-Very helpful person. Watch out when she's angry though . If typing out her name is too troublesome,you can just type out T, T',Miss T' or Lainy. She doesn't like to get flamed by newbie smartass members. She is also one of the Moderators of the forum, and enforces the rules strictly.

He seems to have a strange attraction to being flamed by other members.Your friendly fence-sitter,residential bartender of the Swigging Monkey,and owner of 'The Fence'. Recently leaft and returned. Is braving the world of post secondary school.

Mr. Sleep- The almost forgotten master of spam. Although recently this title has been claimed by Weasel. He will always be remembered as the starter of spam, and for the stupidity of asking for an e-mail reply everytime someone posted in his topic. Occasionally becomes mad. Rumour has it that his anus functions like a bag of holding. Was a spammer but now a spam killer. Should you intend to be a spammer, make sure that you stay clear out of his way.Currently having some domestic problems with the Mrs.(recently found bouncing at Gruntboy's place). He is the creator of the most infamous Goody thread which broke the board, and forced an upgrade. On top of that, he was the first to acheive a post count of 10000+. He is a Moderator of the forum, and uses that as an excuse to Spam. Specializes in closing down taverns, and other popular threads, out of jealousy.

Local Sage and Bouncer of the forums, with a strange affinity for fish and Togas. Also known as I Sage, and Sleeps with Fishes.

KidD01-The supposed Champion of Spam. Been missing for awhile but was recently rediscovered and has now return to his old ways. Also known as KidD04228750168, and KidD(random number)

Magus-The mastermind behind the Roleplaying in Athkathla thread.He can usually be found typing out long posts in that particular thread. Currently residing primarly in the Forgotten Realms forum.

Osiris-The Lord of the Underworld who has returned to action this past few days.He has his own gang which occasionally pops up with him whenever he goes reclaiming some poor, lost soul.He is also a great lawyer that never seems to lose in any of his cases.

Rail-Another member of the team that brought you the Roleplaying in Athkathla thread.Not much is known about him except for the fact that he hates spellcasters. Currently residing in the Forgotten Realms forums. Recently had a child.

Vehemence- The person who will try to win a discussion by smooth words instead of content.An egotistic sissy.Needed help with bartending when there wasn't many people around in the pub at the time.Claims to be like thunder:lots of noise but no substance.Other claims include being a legend( ),a master in TKD(surprisingly oblivious to his surroundings) and a poet. Currently MIA, but one of the most influencial members of SYM. Georgi, him, and Aegis managed to up the post count of the forum one summer by 8000+, on their own.

SPAM: unwanted or "junk" e-mail messages, usually in large quantities. Often spamming is done deliberately, but it can be accidental. LURKING: is the very common practice of reading an online or e-mail discussion without taking part in the discussion. Most visitors to discussions on Web sites, Usenet groups, e-mail discussion groups, Internet Relay Chat channels, or bulletin board systems understandably spend much more time reading or "listening" than writing or "speaking." What this term seems to imply in its usage is that some people benefit a great deal from a discussion without ever offering to enrich it with their own information or ideas. It is well understood and accepted, however, that there will always be lurkers in any discussion. And people new to a discussion are sometimes advised to lurk until they become familiar with the discussion.

COMM: is the cult of worshippers that spam much and deny more in their attempt to spread the "Light" of COMMunication as opposed to the "Darkness" of Spam. According to Weasel, former leader of the COMMs:
a shortened version of Communicating. A way to spread joy to all the board and do away with the vile evil spam that is overflowing this place. Founded in 1982 by poor moon people on vacation to the Earth, it's a NON-profit group dedicated to wiping out Spam and Dark Flamers: a group of women dominators who hatched a plan to take over the world. Their postion is to have complete domination of COMM.

DARK FLAMERS: a group of men and women who write fiction in a thread called Order of the Dark Flames.

SLURR: currently a form of sociable Spamming, while drinking and/or smoking. According to Ned, co-founder of the SLURRs, along with Bloodstalker and McBane:
it isn't really Spam and it isn't COMMunicating. Most aptly described, I'd say it's coherent thoughts contorted by booze.

BToN: Bloodstalker's Tavern of Neutrality. Tavern in which the principle of SLURRing was applied most accurately. Great conflict surrounds the closing of this tavern.

Rolling Thunder (TM): black Mack truck, driven by Beldin. It contains a pocket plane (see ToB), so that it can hold many recreational facilities (e.g. hottub and pooltable). It is also equipped with a shinethrower tm, operated by Ode to a Grasshopper. Primarily, however, the Rolling Thunder (TM) is considered to be a moving tavern (preventing final closure).

SYM: Speak Your Mind. Forum, in which moderators are a bit more lenient towards spamming

STICKY: one of the first threads in a forum, marked with a message "sticky" to the side. Moderators can turn threads into stickies, so that they will remain on the first (couple of) page(s) of the forum and not move several pages according to which thread was last posted in, like the other threads.

BUMPING: making a post which does not contribute anything except putting the thread back to the top of the list

PM: Private Message. Often used as a verb to indicate sending a Private Message e.g. you can always PM me.

Hey how about we all write our own profiles? It'll make things go faster (as long people don't go on an ego trip when writing their profile).

Kayless - Goofy (though only sporadically humorous) spammer. Once claimed to be the bastard son of Buck Satan and a frog (a Frogspawn) and is known for his love of distinctive emoticons and animated gifs. Also the patron of disco and downtrodden fugly animals (naked mole rats, capybaras, frogs, etc). Frequently changes avatars and occasionally makes custom animations of RPG characters disco dancing. Writes in the seagreen font color. Recently shifted towards evil due to the corrupting nature of SYM.

LOL - have only ever given out infomation about myself in one thread - think it is long deleted now (I hope) so I guess you can delete most of that statement about me again.
